Place to stay (Sunrise, Plantation, Davie: hotels, safe area, price)

So, finally we are flying down to South Florida tomorrow. We haven't booked a hotel yet though. Our price range is between $300 and $350 for the week. Any recommendations for a hotel within 20 miles of Weston and in a safe area? Thanks in advance.

In your price range this would be about it. It is also a straight shot to Weston maybe 15 minutes.

Why not do something like Courtyard Marriott right IN Weston? (all of Weston is safe, so no need to worry about finding a safe area)

Courtyard Marriott for $350 a week? I don't think so. He'd be able to stay 3 nights for that price.

There are tons of hotels between the airport and Weston, which is a 15-mile/25 minute stretch. Weston hotels might be pricey. In between you have Davie, Plantation, and Sunrise. I know there are some modest chain hotels right off of 595 on Davie Road. I forget the names, but they're easy access to 595 which takes you directly to Weston.

You might want to check out hotels right off of I-75 and I-595. Typically, the bulk of them are located right off of the interstates. Also, there is a cluster of them by the Sawgrass Mills shopping mall off of the Sawgrass Expressway in Sunrise.
