They didn't say that those were Broward malls. The person was probably just making conversation without the assumption that somebody would dissect their post to point out the obvious. I'm pretty sure they know that those aren't Broward malls.

Yeah that's true, and they are close to Broward so it doesn't really matter.

Well, it depends on what you are looking for. If you are looking for an apple store Galleria, Other than that I shop at Coral Square Mall. I have young kids and there are a lot of kids stores. It's more a family atmosphere with the play area and an aquarium, plus the stores are affordable.

I also think Coral's Macy's is better than Borward Mall's and I love Kohls and Limited for myself... All depends on what you are looking for.

I looked at the list and thought "that's sad - Broward should be able to do better."
Boca Town and Center is good as is Dadeland and Aventura. But alas - none of those are in Broward.

I voted "other;" living out west my favorite place to go to shop, eat and people watch is The Shops at Pembroke Gardens (located near I-75 and Pines Blvd.) I don't know if you would call it a traditional mall -- it is open-air and loaded with lower, middle and high end shops and nice chain restaurants (Cheesecake Factory, Brio's, among others).

Sawgrass Mills is just plain intimidating -- the size, the hawkers with their kiosks asking you to sit for a massage, try perfume, make up, blah blah blah, and the large groups of people kinda swimming like pools of fish -- some fast and furiously going from store to store, others ambling along with strollers, walkers, canes and ice cream cones. It's just too much!!!

Galleria is gorgeous -- but not one that I go to often because it's out east. I also agree that Boca Town Center, although not in Broward, is a good choice and I'll go there if I'm in the northern end of Broward County.

I was gonna mention Pembroke Gardens. It might be outdoors but it's still a mall to me.

When we were looking at homes, we went there. It's nice, but I don't think it's a REAL mall though.

Slap a roof on top of it and it's almost a mall. LOL

Whenever I'm getting higher-end things for me, my sister, my niece or fiance, I go to Galleria. When I'm just getting regular stuff, I go to Sawgrass Mills, since it always has better deals.

I'm sorry, but there are no good malls in Broward county. Sawgrass Mills is awful--it looks cheap and is in dire need of a reno--- it needs an update...those wood floors and weird lighting inside the Sawgrass mills mall looks very early 1990s to me. The outdoor portion of the mall needs a refresh as well--- the Ron Jon Surf shop and the movie theatre are looking a little tired....as is the rest of the mall... minus the new outlet stores.

If u want a real mall--- with a modern, clean, sleek, nice feel It's either Boca Town Center or the Aventura Mall.
