First thanks to everyone on this forum...through you guys I found the city and school we are moving to-Plantation and The Blake School. Now for a couple of other questions...

1. Dentist-must take medicare

2. Pediatrics-same as above

3. Public Beach for Kids-willing to travel up or down coast a little

4. Parks-within or close to Plantation

5. Piano teacher-for 6 year old son

6. Martial Arts-through PALs

7. Sport Bar/Pub-for my job search, looking for a laid-back workplace with a patio

8. Grocery Store-cheap, clean and/or ethnic

9. Outdoor Party Areas-for me and my husband for the 1 month my kids are with family!

Thanks ahead for any help. Super excited about move!

Grocery store- Publix, most widely known and respected grocery store here. Clean, helpful and good meat and produce. I dont personally like Winn Dixie, IMO. And I dont know if theres anymore Albertsons anymore.. thankfully.

There is a new fancy Publix in Plantation near where Whole Foods is. Wife went and said it was pretty amazing.

Please educated me...How does a pediatrician take Medicare? Isn't Medicare for people who are over 65? I stopped going to my pedi at 13...it was starting to get a bit uncomfortable at that age.

Are you talking about medicaid? <---??? Isn't that the free health insurance for the poor????????

Default Thanks for the great advice

Yeah...thanks. I meant Medicaid...always seem to get those two mixed up! Thanks for all the great responds already!
Publix does seem like place to go down there.
I'll be hitting up the park and beach you mentioned as well.
Thanks for the link to the sports bar, will be checking it out.
Keep them coming!
