Hi All,

We'd love to rent a boat for a day or two of cruising up and down the canals and seeing the area from the water. Can anyone recommend a good, reasonable place to do this? Thanks in advance!

try fish tale marina. it about 5 miles south of the square on fmb.
here is their website
Fish-Tale Marina: Full Service Marina Fort Myers Beach, Florida

there are also jetski rentals across the street from that at the holiday inn on the beach, they even have dolphin tours. but be prepared to take a boaters safety course if you dont have your boaters safety card from your state, we learned that it is required (16-22). Dolphin tours last 1.5 hours and are 110 with 1person on ski, 2 person on ski is 130 and i think 150 with three.

good luck on your search.

We went to Fish Tale Marina to rent our boat today--they were great! : ) Thank you for the suggestion. The dolphins swam along with our pontoon and it was the highlight of our trip so far!

Chadman, you're staying only a couple blocks from us--we're right across from the Outrigger! I'm not looking forward to going back to Denver on the 31st either. Brrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr.
