Can anyone recommend any good child care providers or facilities?Considering a seasonal position at LMHS this winter for appl 6 months so I would be working 3 12 hour day shifts a week....child is 8 but would be homeschooled so it would be an all day thing. Nothing is set in stone yet re: job but want to start looking at my options now cuz this is a big deciding factor if I take it or not. Any information appreciated!

Maybe check out a few homeschool support groups, they might have a good contact for all day daycamps?

Gulfcoast Homeschool Association

Gaia_Homeschoolers : GAIA HOMESCHOOLERS

Home - Heart and Home Homeschoolers

Southwest Florida Homeschooling Families - A Bravenet.com Hosted Site

Good luck to you!

If you want an individual that is licensed or licensed facilities you can go to the following web site and search: Child Care Provider Search - SansWrite Public Web Portal
My stepdaughter used them when she first moved to Florida to find a sitter in the summer and during school breaks. You can select the type of provider and services that you are looking for. You can also read the facilities inspection reports if they had violations, etc.

If you want someone in your home check with www.care.com. My stepdaughter has used them a few times too.
