Was told about a home decorating store in or around the Cape that was like a warehouse. Kind of like an overstock place. Not a Furiture store, they sell mostly accent items. Now I forgot the name of it. Is anyone familiar with a place like that?

dunno about the Cape, but across the bridges there is Old Time Pottery at Fowler and Colonial, a must visit for overstock warehouse type store

also Hobby Lobby at Six Mile Cypress and Colonial, middle level

the store names above are entirely undescriptive of what they sell

Wilford and Lee across 41 from Bell Tower would be again another step up.

Z Galleria at Mercado (the Whole Foods Mall) in North Naples is fun at the other end of the spectrum

Back to cheap, there is also the huge Flea Market on MLK.

Sarasota Architectural Salvage is an absolute blast to visit, and check out Main Street and St. Armand's circle when you are up there, Ca D'Azan and the Ringley Museum.

Is Hobby Lobby any good? We used to love Old Time Pottery, but after the initial excitement of the place, the cheap made-in-China goods get a little old.....
