My wife took a job in Fort Worth and has relocated to Arlington, now it’s time for me to head down there without a job. This was not the best idea we have ever had to relocate with me not having a job.

Can anyone tell me if there are recruiters that specialize in construction or where to look for construction jobs? I have a degree in Construction Management all the certifications for OSHA along with a back ground in commercial / Government projects.

I have looked on the normal job boards and have applied for a few jobs but if Texas is anything like Washington it’s not what you know it’s who. Any feedback would be great

run a search for the DFW area for your skill set

you can check Craigs list as well

don't know what kind of construction you did specifically==
US corps of engineers has headquarters in Denton and FEMA does as well
maybe something with disaster relief there???

there are jobs on road crews--lots of highway construction going on
some developers are starting their subdivision development again

some pool construction companies have managed to stay afloat but winter is usually slow season for them
