You are not understanding what he is saying. The TRE is a commuter rail and they do not operate as frequently and as long as inner city rail services like streetcars and lightrail systems like DART. Yes, it will move you from FW to Dallas and vice versa. But what do you do to get around the city easier w/o having a car. This is what he's talking about. Dallas has a major advantage with the DART and MATA. It sucks that FW's leadership is still stuck in the 20th century.

Re-read it perfectly. It is my observation that you are not understanding what he's saying. Commuter rail is not as reliable as inner city rail throughout the day and night.

No, you didn't understand what I was saying if you brought up the TRE. Spade explained it well.

Sorry, I do try not to get 'snippy' on these boards, but to me the word 'any' means something. I understood the intent of what was being said, but words mean something to me.
Again I apologize if I'm coming off as a jerk...

You would think that a city who planned to have a small, centralized downtown attraction (GREAT idea) and approve to re-create an uptown area to include an urban lake, waterfronts, riverwalks, parks, and more land area for mixed use development to connect downtown with the Stockyards (again, GREAT idea) would basically slow the process of light rail in the same city.

Hell, I'll take more busses at this point.
