I want to find new housing developments with some kind of a decent view (not flat). Also want a gas range. Any ideas or help? My husband is retiring & we are selling our home in Southern California this summer.

North Texas is notoriously flat, so unless you want to live in a high rise, its going to be difficult to find a "view" close into town. If you are willing to make a lengthy commute, there are areas around Eagle Mountain Lake or Possum Kingdom Lake that are more scenic.

There is neighborhood around Hulen and Arborlawn that have new homes with views, but are in the millions. The development is River Hills and they are building what looks to be a community of either townhomes or smaller homes near by that might have a view, not sure of the price range.

Trying looking near Eagle Mountain Lake. There were a couple of homes that have sold these past few months that had beautiful views in the Lake Country subdivision

Thank you! I will be looking at these areas. Any non-view gas areas welcome, also. Do not want an electric range.
