Have had Powell for some time and they are now fumbling their administration. Our bills are sent automatically from the bank monthly, yet we receive notices that we are late. When I called, the service rep said she had a stack of mail on her desk she hadn't gotten to yet. Meanwhile, they are sending me red-lined bills.

Anyone have experience with Smith Thompson or other reputable companies?

Thanks, C

We use ADT which is a national company. They have always been extremely prompt and we've never had a problem.

We use ADT. Please read the fine print! Some of the local firms tried to get our business but so far inconsistencies (maybe outsourced call centers) between initial contact and follow up have deterred us.

You may want to contact your home insurance carrier. Some work closely with alarm companies.

We use Smith Thompson and love them. Very affordable and we've had no issues.
