The Fort Worth Museum School at the Museum of Science and History is wonderful. My girls took several classes there and it was well worth the standing in line to get them in.

There are some great suggestions in these posts. One thing I will add is the idea of a "bridge" program. Some preschools will offer a step up from the usual pre-K curriculums for those older 4s and 5s that just missed the cut off. The ones I am aware of are near TCU so I can't help you in regards to the Keller area but you may ask about "bridge" programs while you are doing your research. I agree with other posters that recognize the fact that pre-school can provide many other bonuses other than typical academics. It really is a great way to start connecting with other parents with young kids.

My granddaughter attends Oakridge School in north Arlington and it has been a wonderful place for her for preschool and prekindergarten; just a total positive experience.

I would like to start a pre k program in a church and need to know if I can lease the church and still run it as churches do: separation of church and state...not having to register with Department of Education
