My family and I are wanting to relocate to Fort Worth. We have been in Houston for 16 years and need a change. We love museums, arts, camping and other family activities. Any suggestions as to what part of town to look into? We would like to lease a 3-4 bedroom home for a couple of years to before buying. Thanks

is there work involved--Fort Worth is a city with several smaller ones surrounding it
knowing about your drive to work is usually important factor in happy move...
there are wonderful museums in FTW itself, plenty of art (visual/dramatic/musical) events there and in local areas--camping in Grapevine, Granbury, Eagle Mtn Lake areas

Yes, there is a new position that we are waiting on. I do have a close friend that works at the same company and he lives in Keller.

but where is the company located--Keller covers a wide area--and there are other towns in Tarrant county besides Keller and FTW---you would be in one town and have to drive an hour to work---do you want that....

I think that you and your family would love Keller. It is very nice and very family-oriented. This is a new area that is growing ALOT, so there is a lot of new housing developments with some really nice houses. The schools are good and there is a lot of stores and restaurants there as well. If you are working in Fort Worth, your commute would be a breeze. Hope this helps!

Ditto's to all the above...Keller is the Best! Great schools, very family friendly and close to everything!
There are lots of great subdivisions and rental properties available.
I've worked with a lady named Julie before on a finding a rental property.
You may want to give her a call: 817-501-2590

First I would like to say that, I am new to the forum. I do not know the difference between a quote and a reply. Can someone help me out. Also where do I find the posting rules. Thanks.

to txshtr: we live about a mile south of Keller, near I35. If I can be of any help to you let me know.
