Depending on where your husband will be working in GP, you could take the George Bush tollway (190/161) from the Hebron area to 183 and hop over to 360, or grab a surface road from there to avoid 360.

NTTA is working on extending GBT from 183 down to I-20 - once that is in place the commute to GP will be much easier. I don't know the current time frame for completion of that section, however.

Thanks for this thread... we were thinking Bedford, but when we went to look last week, we couldn't get out of there fast enough. This left us with another dilemma then... if not Bedford, then where? I've spent 2 months researching small towns in and around the DFW area.

We happened to be staying at a hotel in Lewisville (just because of the hotel and it's suite special) and I found this thread that night... so Lewisville it is! How strange that I looked at Carrollton before, but somehow missed Lewisville!
