Planning on moving this summer and am looking at homes south of Denton. I'll be driving my kids to a private school located near UNT. What would the traffic be like going north on 35E around 7:30am? Would a home closer to 377 (Fort Worth Road) make for an easier drive? Both the homes I'm looking at are the same distance to the school. Thanks!

I too am looking to move this summer, but having trouble picking a town. Where are your choices?

Going north in the morning will be against the flow of most traffic which will be headed south toward Dallas. Depending on your price range Corinth is a good option and another would be Lantana which is a little higher end.

I would stay north of Lake Lewisville Bridge or Lantana (and north). The bridge tends to act as a funnel that slows traffic.

Thanks, Rankin. I have considered Lantana but it's longer drive to the school I'm considering.

horse-around, right now I am focusing on Argyle and Corinth, but I still browse homes in Flowermound.
I checked out a few areas in January and will be going back this month to do the same thing. I really hope we find something we like on this next trip. It's frustrating to research online!

Lantana should not be any farther away then Argyle and the southern part of Corinth. You need to visit the area and see, don't rely on mapping.
