I took a trip to Austin, TX one time. I used a cab to get to a hotel that was right outside the airport because they didn't have a shuttle service. The cabbie, who was Middle Eastern and smelled like he hadn't bathed in months, complained the whole way there about the money he was losing on such a short trip and about how he was going to have to wait in line for an hour to get another customer. Like I'm supposed to give a f#ck. And for having to put up with the smell I didn't tip him either.

I live in a very high theft area. People will steal anything not nailed down. They steal from the back of my husband's truck all the time. Most of what they steal isn't worth much, and the best thing they steal is the "Laundry Detergent".

Hubby has no bathroom facilities at his properties. Bet their laundry isn't lemony fresh!

I heard a great story about a garbage strike in NYC, this lady would put all here trash in a big box wrap it in gift paper and leave it in the back seat of her car unlocked, it never failed to disapear.

They don't mention that there will be an additional charge. In the print add in the news paper yes, but not on the roadside signs.

And the 5qt limit is a quart short for most v8's.
So it is still a ploy.
i have a smart car as my daily driver and love the thing and i try to go to one place that deals with the smart car and knows how to do a oil change on them along with bringing my own oil filter for most of the places do not stock the filter in there supply program ..

i do the every 3000.mile standard oil change set up on the car ..i do go to one place alot to get the oil change but every now and then they would be pretty busy iam basically stuck in a long wait but i go and find a place around in the area to do a standard oil change

but i did run into this one time and i find it funny for they where not wanting to do the standard price of $14.95 for the oil change they wanted to charge me $85.oo dollars for a oil change and this was the reason why now get this ..

they where trying to tell me that my smart took a special high end type of motor oil and it was a lot of work to do the oil change and wanted to charge me a hour worth of labor and the cost of the oil ..

i look at the guy and goes you are full of s--- right to his face with people in the room and that when i pulled out a list of the oils the smart can use in the engine and a basic drawing of where the oil filter is on the smartand pointed out to him that it take this brand of oil which you have on the display right there and i bought my own oil filter with me and i have a drawing that shows where the filter is located on the engine block area .. .. it easly as heck to get to for it takes about 10 mins total from start to finish to change the oil ..

he just stands there looking at me and i turn and i told him iam calling the company headquaters first thing monday morning about you and you scam that you have going here ..

i did call the company headquaters and basically told them what the guy was doing and i guess that was not the first problem call on this person that they had today ..so when i drove by there a few weeks later they had a sign outside the store saying that it was under new mgn and with new crew members and come in and get our oil change special for $.12.95 oil change this week .. .

I understand not wanting to get ripped off and holding a large company to their advertisements, but as a partner in a strip-club I can tell you that sometimes bargain hunters can be a real PITA for small-business owners.

We have free admission Sunday through Wednesday, along with drink specials and $1 draft beer. We get a few guys that come in for free, spend a dollar for a beer, and proceed to nurse that beer (and watch the girls dancing) for a few hours, without tipping either bartenders or the dancers.

Although legally I can't do anything about it I constantly brainstorm as to what I could do, short of convincing my partner to end the free admission. I've had some success in shaming the guys, but some just don't seem to have any shame.

I know the economy is tough, but it leaves a bad taste in my mouth when I see this happening. There's a difference between being frugal and being downright cheap.

Support your local small-businesses, or you'll be shopping for EVERYTHING at Wal-Mart one day soon...

Whether a business makes money or loses money on me is none of my "business." Car dealers are the only ones I've seen who expect you to care. The strip club owner might be able to make extra money by threatening to post pictures of the customers!

when i do go to the gentlemen clubs i do tip the girls but i do not buy dances to me they are a complete waste of time of the who thing of look do not touch thing going on for i go for the lunch special that they have and i sit at the bar and order through the bartender my drinks and food so they get tiped and when the girls come by i know i buy them a drink and they sit for a second and say hello and tell me what is going on in the business . .

so they know i work in the casino business and it allways the standard joke trade a dance for a free meal ticket or free special that we have running at the time ..most of the time i just give them tickets anyway and tell them enjoy them

they understand that i do come into the place for a little piece and quiet for most people would not look for me there .
