How much do you spend/month for gas? (average, car, gasoline)

Last month was $496. That's for a van and a corolla. How does that compare?

I only drive about 1000 miles per month so my gasoline expenses are about $100 per month,

The Math:
$496.00 / $3.75 per gallon = 132 gallons x 25 mpg (avg) = 3300 miles
3300 miles per month / 26 days / 2 cars = 63 miles per car per day (avg)
Sounds like someone needs to live closer to work.

Gas has not been below $3.839 for months here. Now it is $3.999 and has been for the past three weeks.
