Last month was $496. That's for a van and a corolla. How does that compare?

It varies, I try to keep it to ~$50/week

I've got two areas I do alot in, and I keep a truck in each area and try to use one of my motorcycles to commute (~500
Miles apart)

I spend around $100 per month for my SUV.
DH spends around $300 per month for his sedan... but he averages 2000 miles a month for his consulting jobs.

Four gallons every day 5 days a week. Yesterday morning gas was $3.63. Last night it jumped to $3.89. I quit measuring in dollars, and now only count the gallons I use.

About $60-75 if I don't make any out of town trips. $100-115 if I do.

How does that compare to what?
---

The Math:
$496.00 / $3.75 per gallon = 132 gallons x 25 mpg (avg) = 3300 miles
3300 miles per month / 26 days / 2 cars = 63 miles per car per day (avg)
Sounds like someone needs to live closer to work.

hth

I wish!
Gas has not been below $3.839 for months here. Now it is $3.999 and has been for the past three weeks.
