I returned the cable box and equipment for the phone and internet. I reduced my budget by $162. I should receive most of my payment back for the month since the billing cycle began on 4/30.
I plugged in my antenna. It works beautifully. I watch Dvds that I bought and I get from the library. Zero dollars.

I have an antenna just waiting to be installed in the attic so I can d/c cable too. Not internet though.
I am working my way through back episodes of my favorite old TV shows on Youtube. The ones I can't find on YT, I google them and find on another website. No TV, no cable, just laptop and my comfy chair.
And I just picked up DVD of "I, Tonya" from the library.
You’ll be saving over $1,900/year. Good job. Do you have alternate plans for the money?
No, my financial situation has changed. It is the only expense I can cut. So far so good, I am watching old movies on channel M for movies. It must be new. I caught an episode of little house. What happened to Bounce and the Game show channel?
I watched Homeland season 6 for most of the day. 48 hours is next on M.
Why do you need to install it? I just screwed the cable in.
I miss the internet. I am using my phone and I will be visiting the library frequently.
Do you have the Overdrive app (free) on your phone; you may be able to download both ebooks and audiobooks from your library on it if your library is associated with it. Won’t help with the dvds, but may help save a trip. Bookbub has some free ebooks too if you havent seen that yet—it will download to the Kindle app.
You may be aware of these already. If so, never mind!
Best wishes.
Added: I have over-the-air antenna also. I get Grit, Me tv, cozi, escape, scifi channel, local news and a few others. I don’t watch much tv, though.

Overdrive is great! I download ebooks from it all the time, for a new book I usually have to wait a week or two but it beats paying for them!

It certainly does!
Amazon has a lot of free kindle “old classic” books as well.
