I'm surprised to hear people planting Morning Glories, here they are considered "weeds of concern", which is a step below noxious weed status, and people pull or spray them. I have pulled a few along my back fence and they have been blooming since about late June.
the field bind weed (wild morning glory) around here has been blooming for weeks!
the dang stuff is all over the place! My grandsons and I pulled up two big trash bags plus some on Saturday.
My neighbor was complaining about hers not flowering, then the next day, last week, I went out back to walk the dog and bam, hers were blooming. I'm Zone 7.
Seems they're late this year.

Bind weed has roots that go to China (my dad used to tell me). Pulling them just encourages them. You must cover them with RoundUp if you want to be rid of them. And even then, they'll taunt you.
Mine have just started blooming. What I had to do was to chop off the ends and maybe that's what forced the energy into making flowers instead of growing taller.
These are Heavenly Blue, which I always start from seed. For some reason they are pink rather than blue but that may be due to the soil here.
