Can anyone tell me their experience with Mexican Sage Bush.
Pruning hard? does it attract bees like lavender? Growth rate. Does it take over the garden?

I bought it with the hopes of attracting bees. (and I have bees all over my lawn) and have never seen a bee go near it.
I prune mine (almost to the ground) twice a year. That causes it to have a growth spurt and to flower. Mine has never taken over the garden, and sits exactly where I put it.
The flowers appear to be of a type that may attract hummingbirds, but sadly, Florida only has two that ever visit.
