I bought 6 tomato plants and planted them with wall-o-water to keep them warm at night. Put them in a mix of yard dirt/peat/black cow manure.
5 of six are growing like CRAZY! Tall, full, bushy, with lots of flowers. Cherry tomatos, early girl, I don't even know, no two are alike.
The 6th, the Amish Paste is tall due to the wall-o-water but spindly, sort of greyish in color (they are all like that at the store) and has no flowers. Is it just that this variety is slow to get started? Or do i need to feed it with something? I could probably top dress it with black cow........or some kind of soil acidifier?
