My maternal grandparents were both Irish and I had one paternal grandparent who was Irish, the other Scottish. I have green eyes, medium chestnut brown hair which is very thick and wavy, and milk white skin that never tans but burns in the sun if I don't put on a high SPF sunblock.
NOBODY ever has guessed my correct nationality. 99% of them are absolutely convinced that I am Italian!
rotfl. From what you describe, I would not choose Italian, not even northern Italian.

To be fair though, that's probably only because you keep coming back to resurrect it.
I am mixed Chinese and Scottish, generally I don't think people know or really care we're my parents are from I pretty much look in between not really categorisable.
Because of my name people ask me if I'm Swedish, but I'm not. Mostly German, French (Alsatian), and English with a smidgen of Scottish and Dutch.
