Gina, did you add breeinmo's photo to FindAGrave? You should be careful doing things like that, as the photo is copyrighted to the person who took it and you don't have the right to post it elsewhere without their permission. I realize you're just trying to help, and hopefully breeinmo doesn't mind, but technically, you shouldn't do it without checking with the copyright owner first.

When I first found the pic here, I didn't realize it was a two year old thread. I searched it up on Ancestry and this photo was already well distributed but nobody gives the location of the headstone outside of the county it is in. I did link the find-a-g pic to this thread so the original poster would have the credit. I've messaged them for more info and when I hear back I will hopefully find out where this stone is located so I can further research the location of the grave of my 3rd ggrandmother. If the photo is not to be shared I will take it down for sure.

It's not about credit, republishing copyrighted material without permission, whether you give credit or not, is still a violation of copyright. By giving credit, you're only avoiding plagiarism, not copyright infringement.
breeinmo said the headstone is at the foot of her steps at her private home, so unless they are willing to share their home address, I don't know that you'll find the location.

breeinmo said in this thread: " I'd love to let her family know where she's at, if she's here and they'd care to know. I don't want to post here where I live, but will give info in private email to trusted members"
...so It sounds like they are very willing to help the descendants of Adeline. Whatever their wishes, they will be honored. Thanks!

There are no pictures on the memorial as of yet, but the family would probably love to have the OP's pictures and story if she were to share them on FindAGrave.
Thanks for sharing this. I have thought of Adaline from time to time and wondered if any more was found about her. It was good to see she is now on Find-A-Grave with all of the links to her parents, husband, and children, and read about the family (and see a pictures of some of her family!).
One of the things I like about genealogy research is that it keeps people's memories alive. Even though we still don't know where Adaline is buried, in a real sense, her memorial stone worked as we are still talking about, and remembering her, so many years later. There is some satisfaction in that.
