I've never had the labels fade, (maybe I don't give in the same house long enough) but's a good idea to write down the info as you suggest, just in case.

Also, if a color was mixed by the store selling it, they should have given you the numbers for what was used. This and the business where you got it can make it easy to get more. Sometimes the area needing paint just has to match or you get to start over.

Thanks for all the replies. We have successfully moved and I wish the owners would have done half what I did...but I'm lucky to be in a beautiful home that I will enjoy! I ended up skipping the champagne in lieu of a starter kit for the glass top stove and the microfiber cloths for the stainless so they'd know what to use.

I feed the hummingbirds here in the winter. They will even come over looking for the feeder when the temperature drops if I haven't put it out. They get by fine by themselves in the summer. I am going to leave the feeder with a note about where I put it out and how to mix up the sugar water. I hope they will feed them. It's amazing to watch them out the bedroom window.
