American English Dialects

This map has been recently updated and the author is asking for help in finding audio samples from certain areas.

What do you think, is this an accurate representation of the different geographical accents in the US?

The topic of "accents" has been discussed already (more than once). Please see the room sticky for posting guidelines for the room. I'll leave the link/article up for people to be able to read but any discussion of accents should be done via searching for the already existing articles and adding to them. Thank you.
