Hi guys
would like to ask, is there any other spot in the USA , which is similar to Miami as regards fun on a beach, water sports, nightlife etc...? I'm considering our next summer destination - we visited Miami last year and I'd like to see another city/state - I was thinkin of LA - but not sure it looks exotic enough for me (santa monica maybe - but anyway...
Honolulu is much more similar to Miami by far then any other city in America. LA, San Diego, or any other major city on U.S. mainland has no where near the tropical feel and vibe that Miami has.
Well the beaches on the west coast have some pretty cold water and not clear etc.. Its not tropical like Miami. Of course Hawaii is very tropical and much different then Miami. Other suggestions in the US similar to Miami would be San Juan PR and the US Virgin Islands. But the only two places IMO which are like Miami in the US Beach+Nightlife are San Juan and Honolulu.
