Imagine if the there was land where the atlantic ocean is from northern Maine to southeast florida stretching all the way to the azores and the cape verde islands. Imagine if that land was apart of the united states and that land became states in the late 1700s/1800s.Imagine what different culture could have developed in those stares. We'd have more states/more regions/more sports teams.Would interstate 10 keep going east of Jacksonville? Would interstate 90 keep going east of Boston? I'm assuming the current united states would have been settled like it was and more immigrants would have came over to settle these additional areas where the atlantic ocean was. Instead of being beach towns, towns along the jersey shore would be RIVER TOWNS,and instead of cape cod being on an ocean maybe it would be on a small lake seperating it from another state.
Imagine that the Mississippi River was the east coast of the United State, and imagine that you are living in that country, posting on an internet forum. And imagine that somebody post a question that said: "Imagine that North America extends a thousand miles further east, all the way to the Bahamas up to Greenland. Imagine what that would be like. Would I-10 extend further east than Baton Rouge, and would I-80 extend east of Davenport?"
