Haha...

I just realized I tried to say SF streets smell like pee, and City Data doesn't allow the word p i s s so bleeped it out. Really? What's so obscene about pee?

I'm thinking Denver - the dry heat might be tolerable. Another place to consider is Boise. The hippie culture won't be dominant but you might check their board to see if there's enough of a subculture. Spokane perhaps???

As mentioned earlier Boulder seems to be a great fit. Yes, like Denver it will go above your high temperature criteria for a month or two, but the low humidity makes it tolerable where it wouldn't seem so otherwise.
