In DC the "EXPERTS" at the National Park Service had said the famous Cherry Blossoms would be out the last week of March. Then that was updated to April 3-5th, then updated again to April 5-7th now it is being updated to April 10-12th. What a bunch of fools! Latest since the 1950s, other than yesterday we have not had any Spring yet.

High of 72 in Philly today. High of 82 the next few days.

The fountains in the city are on, new beer gardens open, tons of people out this past weekend, seeds have been sown and baseball is back.

I think it's safe to say that Spring has Sprung here.

Well the snow is pretty much all gone in Minneapolis. Also, I noticed the grass looked pretty green walking this morning. That's probably thanks to the rain we've had. These temps above 40 make it feel like Spring to me

Ah, 60's and 70's along the Front Range yesterday with blizzard warnings for this evening and a high in the Springs tomorrow of 24! It is definitely "Springtime in the Rockies!" Cover those tulips Katiana.

My tulips are barely up, let alone blooming. They'll be OK under a blanket of snow.

I was looking at some pictures I took in Virginia on this date last year. The trees were all green and the azaleas were out and the grass was green. This year the Cherry Blossoms have not even peaked yet. What a difference a year makes.

Didn't get near the snow forecast. It looks like ~ 3-4 in in my back yard. Streets are wet but clear.

Are you saying that's not the case now? I call BS.

The grass is green (and needs mowing), the trees are in full bloom, the tulips & daffodils in my garden have fully opened and are beautiful. The sun is shining and it's very warm. It's most definitely spring in Northern Virginia/Washington DC. The cherry blossoms officially reached their peak today.

My wife stayed overnight in Wichita, Kansas, and had to scrape ice off her car this morning. Borger, Texas, in the northern pahnandle, tied a record low for this date at 21. Freezing rain in most of northern Oklahoma. It is snowing now in Salina, Kansas. At 2-am, in Laramie, Wyoming, it was 3-below and snowing.
