I agree but Indianapolis and Minneapolis are seem to be up and coming and could serious to challenge Metro Detroit in the near future.
Indianapolis is behind St. Louis, Cleveland, Cincinnati and probably Kansas City and Milwaukee too- it isn't even remotely close to overtaking Detroit or Minneapolis.

I agree st. Louis is booming in every way and they have the arch with is very iconic. Cincinnati is booming in every way too and is trying to become a metro with dayton to make it 3.2 million. Cleveland again is also booming and has a pretty good view right now through the media. Kansas city has the bbq nuff said lol

0_o cant believe Minneapolis and Detroit are leading, Minneapolis is just a small town in the Frozen Tundra.. and Detroit is literally a ghost town in the making.. Columbus is obviously the Midwest's 2nd city, after Chicago.

Agree 90%, just switch Milwaukee and Indianapolis. And I'd put Madison at 11 or 12.
Columbus is obviously the Midwest's 2nd city, after Chicago.
Columbus has the same issue as Indianapolis - there are huge amounts of suburbs which were annexed into the city, meaning the actual "urban" area of the cities is much smaller than the total population would seem to indicate.
