Weird! I know a couple people from Naperville! Small world! Yes, it is a nice area. Just wish it had more terrain.

Things i like about where we live-

Farmland and small farms galore
Nearest town/city consist of around 4,000 people
Very tight-knit community
Recently voted as one of the best school districts in the U.S.
The Blueberry Festival
Four seasons
The Woods and Water event/show
Near the Eastern Michigan Fairgrounds
Good state land area that's not 'overspoiled' nearby
In the middle of everything to the big city (Detroit-Flint-Port Huron) to the Great Lake of Lake Huron and much more...

Scranton, PA

-Just over a two-hour drive to either New York City or Philadelphia.
-Medium-sized city status (pop. 72,000) with a "small town" feel due to the wide variety of tightly-knit neighborhoods.
-Minor-league sports (AAA Yankees, AAA Penguins, and Pioneers for baseball, hockey, and arena football respectively).
-Wonderful international airport.
-Beautiful natural setting in the foothills of the Pocono Mountains.
-59th-safest city in the nation.
-Great public schools.
-4th most affordable housing market in the nation.
-Home of NBC's "The Office" and an annual convention for the show.
-Rebounding downtown.
-Historic architecture.
-Easy access to I-81, I-380, I-84, I-476, and I-80.
-Outdoor recreation opportunities abound (skiing, hiking, etc.)
-Growing arts/cultural community.
-University of Scranton, Marywood University, PSU, Lackawanna College.
-Upcoming Commonwealth Medical College.
-Upcoming commuter rail link to Hoboken, NJ.
-Dynamic weather/seasons.
-Historic atractions (Steamtown, Coal Mine Tour, Iron Furnaces, etc.)
-Shopping (Viewmont Mall, Steamtown Mall, Shoppes @ Montage, etc.)
-Ethnic Restaurants.
-Annual Festivals, Fairs, Parades, Races, Marathons, etc.
-Great local media options.

If the employment outlook was a bit rosier, I wouldn't see any reason for folks to not be moving here.
