Southern California. Cross-cultural and interracial friendships/dating/marriages are common. Orange County, traditionally one of the most conservative (politically) counties in the country, has many neighborhoods that are mixed and where solid friendships form. (It can be spotted as a jumble of colors on the map in post #7.)
