My top 5 for the well known parks
-Grand Canyon
-The mighty five in Utah
-Grand Teton/Yellowstone
-Acadia
-Yosemite
My top five for honorable mentions for these underrated parks....
-Olympic National Park, WA - some of the most wild remote and stunningly beautiful seashore in the country backdropped by temperate rain forest and jagged mountain peaks.
-North Cascades National Park, WA
-Saguaro National Park, AZ
-Cape Cod National Seashore, MA
-Cape Hatteras National Seashore, NC
Yellowstone was the most amazing thing I have ever seen. Then again I hear the animal's are running away from it, so you might want to proceed with caution.
Don't forget Denali National Park in Alaska. It has the tallest mountain in the world from base to peak.
