Oh I'm not arguing, just responding to caustic comments. When people say "this area is due for a hurricane" it means they wish it wreaks havoc. Might as well say Seattle/B'ham are due for the big one. Actually you're more in danger there than in TB but no one gets a lot of mileage out of it. (remember the movie Dante's Peak?)

I was joking about Seattle being balmy too. Actually it's arid and desert like.

Well I certainly don't wish it on anyone (plus, I'm from there, and I've got plenty of friends and family from the area, why would I want that?). As Mwah said, it was a statistical comment. And I agree, we're probably due a volcano or earthquake out here. Anyway, I hope no one has to go through a Katrina (or Andrew, or Camille, etc.) again, but inevitably it will happen somewhere.
