Have you been to either of these cities in the summer? Especially in the case of Charleston, you could almost drink the air some days, it's that humid. It feels like an oppressive, moist, warm towel wrapped around your face. The parts of Florida that I've been to in the warmer months are even worse. I love these areas, but if you're looking for low humidity...keep looking!

People need to stop asking for climates that do not exist on the east coast. .

Nowhere on the east coast is gonna have mild winters and NOT be humid... Mild winters exist on the east coast, however I can guarantee their summers are gonna be humid.

if u want a Mediterranean climate, move to california

When people say they want something "not humid" they really mean comfortable. Most people use the term humidity incorrectly.

Key West is her fit, summers are very comfortable despite the humidity. It's all about those island breezes.

Not true. Immediate coastal areas are far less humid than anything inland. Within a few blocks from the beach or on a barrier island could work.

This is an example of people misusing the term humidity.

Immediate coastal areas are actually more humid, however they feel cooler. How?

Ocean temps keep the air temps slightly lower not to mention air circulation is much better.

Most people don't realize that it's not humidity but rather air circulation that causes the muggy feel.

"Far less humid"? No. Equally humid, just more breezy.

Whatever. What I meant was, you don't feel the humidity as much. And you don't.

Yea look into Jacksonville. A lot of Indians, not sure about Bangladesh. I am SE Asian myself.
Relatively low COL, great places to raise kids, mild winters and plenty of opportunity for nurses.
The areas Kyle mentioned are all very popular. I think there is just one mosque in the whole region though, and it's in the Mandarin area. Also generally where the highest concentration of Indians are (again, sorry not sure about Bangladeshi)

There's nowhere on the East Coast with both a mild winter and little humidity. Even South Carolina has a pretty cold winter, and Maine has a fair share of humidity so there's really no escaping it.

For what it's worth I think coastal New Jersey, Delaware, coastal Virginia and the Outer Banks are a pretty good compromise, though I'm not sure how good places they are to live in general. Winters there are fairly mild by eastern standards and the summers are hot and humid but moderated by the ocean.

thank you, I really appreciate the inputs. Florida is way too hot. Also the job market is very bad.
