We all know California has the best weather of anywhere in the U.S. We don't get tornados, hurricanes, hot humid sticky weather, severe thunderstorms, 60 inches of rain a year, severe lightning, cold weather down to -50F, 6 months straight of everyday cloud and rain, etc. So I was wondering what states have the best weather besides CA? See poll options.

I don't like CA weather. Too dry. In places like SF, it is cold and overcast in July. Depressing. My ideal climate would offer 4 distinct seasons with snowy winters and lush green summers where I can swim in a clear lake surrounded by lush, green deciduous forest and have a BBQ. My ideal weather would be somewhere in the northeast/midwest. Maybe Vermont or Wisconsin.

I don't like California weather either. I like snow and dislike hot sunny weather, especially in January. Plus it never rains there except during the winter.

California best weather? No thank you. I have had several opportunities to move to various cities in California over the years and turned them down due to the fact that I do not like the weather there at all. I enjoy four seasons and it's just too hot for me in the summers in most areas in So Cal and No Cal is too the same.

Different strokes I guess.

Can't state a state. Parts of TN are great, parts of TN are miserable, I'm sure it's like that in a lot of other states too.

What places have better weather than California in your opinion? Do you consider the weather in Cleveland to be nicer?

For me yes for others maybe not. Better is really subjective after all. I like the change of seasons and I like the cold so for me; better.

Regarding Cleveland, I just moved here after 36 years in Portland, OR last year. I grew up in Chicago so I am familiar with the type of weather in this part of the country so the weather here was not a big surprise. Given the choice between weather in any city in California, I prefer Cleveland.

For me, anything above 70 degrees is a misery. I just like it on the cool side. I don't mind cold. I hate heat. I avoid the sun like the plague. Best for me is Cleveland and Cleveland type weather. The OP began his comments with 'We all know California has the best weather of anywhere in the U.S." I don't know who these "we" people are supposed to be they they aren't me.

Actually, if I was going to have to choose a warm state as "best" I would go with Hawaii.
