The real estate blog at Estately discovered what each state had more of than any other, per capita, and compiled this map from the data. A few states, such as Michigan with the most engineers, have something to actually be proud of. Most others, such as Alabama with the most racists tweets, won't be bragging about their number 1 ranking. So are you proud or ashamed?

Hey I'll take pet tigers over pornographic page views although I am not in favor of having wild animals as pets. Interesting that NC got snake bites. When we lived there I was terrified my boys would get bit. Looks like my fear was right and not paranoid like my husband suggested.

More than 100 species of birds are more abundant in Texas than all other states combined. A few dozen species do not range into any other US state at all. More bird species have been recorded in Texas than any other state.

That is true, but Vilas County, WI has a lot of lakes.

"Number of Lakes 1,318
Area in Lakes 93,889 acres (146.7 sq miles)"
