I mean about 100,000 population and below. I suppose a lot of those towns will be beach towns. But then beach towns tend to be more like people drifting in and out instead of coming from somewhere else and staying.

Pretty much any town in South/Southwest Florida.

I.E. Fort Myers, Naples, Bradenton, Sarasota, Clearwater, West Palm Beach etc.

Any of the nicer suburbs of Seattle, including here in Sammamish (50k) where I live, but also Redmond (57k), Issaquah (34k), Woodinville (12k), and Kirkland (84k). Many of us are from California and other states, but there are most recently a lot of immigrants from Europe, Asia, and especially India.

Not including regional colleges and technical schools. When I went to tech school, everyone was born and raised in the same area as the tech school. National Universities and Liberal Arts colleges on the other hand, yes, there are transplants whether the school is urban or rural.
