West Virginia and Florida in the same category? Nonsense.

I seriously doubt that my fellow Texans want to be tossed into a regional box with any other state!

The great thing about the current arrangement is that if we want to rub elbows with people from some other nearby (or faraway) state, there's nothing stopping us from posting in that state's forum.

Seriously though pretty sure neither New Mexico or Arizona want to be associated with Texas thanks for the offer, but we'll pass...

No, we have boards for all 50 of the states for a reason and we all have different opinions on what region each state belongs in.

errrr....as the OP, you folks do realize that the division of states I provided was just to serve as an example of what I meant by regional subforms and, not only that, I made it clear that my list was nothing more than opinion, and quite likely not the best opinion out there. i'll quote myself on that...

I would find it very useful if each major region in the US had its own forum. everybody would have their own way to divide this up. Mine (just to serve as an example....with no allusion this way is the best) would parse it like this:
the whole point of the thread was not to select regions for subforms, but to determine if the idea of regional forums was good or bad.

Done that. I don't recommend it.

To the OP, I like your idea of regional forums.
