I'm 26 miles from the Philadelphia sports complex (76ers, Flyers, Phillies and Eagles). For Delaware sports, I'm 14 miles from the University of Delaware stadiums (Blue Hens). And if we want to stretch it, I'm 73 miles from the Baltimore Orioles and Ravens.
Without going into to specifics...
NFL - Falcons: 40 min to the dome
MLB - Braves: was about 40 min toTurner field.. not sure what the commute will be next summer. (CObb County).. guessing 45 min without traffic.
NBA - Hawks: 40 mins to the Arena
NCAA - 40 Min to Downtown for GTech. just about an hour away from Athens for UGA.
NASCAR - less than an hour from Atlanta Motor Speedway plus i can get to Talladega in about 2 hours.. easy drive
Those are the only ones i attend.

I am surrounded by National Forest, close enough to walk to the extensive trail system.
Paulina National Monument is about 20 miles. Crater Lake is about 90 miles.
Within 10 miles: golf, hiking, fishing, cross country skiing, snow shoeing, snow snowmobiling, cross country bike trails, white water rafting, canoeing, surfing, sailboarding, paddle boarding, international level bicycle racing, and our internationally famous Pole Peddle Paddle that brings in contestants from around the world.
ATV trails are 20 miles, technical rock climbing is 20 miles, sailing and water skiing are about 30 miles. Maybe 15 miles for hunting where you don't have to worry about shooting someone's house, although there are elk, deer, and dove right in my backyard. 30 miles to the closest ski lift, although a second one is about that same distance, and two more within 80 miles.
