I currently live in the Walnut Creek, CA area, and today while driving home from work, my mind randomly wondered off and I thought to myself, "This place looks like Cool Springs, TN".
So basically, what are some towns/cities that remind you/seem like a "replica" of another town.
Cool Springs and Walnut Creek just have the same vibe/alikeness that I've noticed. Both are more upscale, definitely some money floating around. Both have super nice malls/galleria type shopping. Both have higher end car dealerships, and even similar big brand type stores. Even the people remind me of the other place.
I would say that the only place in America that doesn't really remind me of anywhere else is urban San Francisco. Most of the suburbs across the country are indistinguishable.
Another thing I'll add is that most geographically close places are the same. I live in Eugene, which feels like a smaller, less grown-up version of Portland, which then feels like a smaller, less grown-up version of Seattle. All are in the Pacific Northwest, and I'd assume that this is mirrored in other geographical areas.
