LOL, you haven't landed at DIA and looked around have you? Everything east of Aurora, CO may as well be the high plains of KS. It's also a running joke to say the airport is out in Kansas because it's fairly distant from the city.
I've been there a couple of times, but that's it. I've never been to Kansas.
Never knew that. Imagine few others did as well. Good one!!
(so, when folks on the north side of the Detroit River say they are going to "Chinatown", is it understand it is in Winsor?
Well, I guess there is no question on the north side of the Detroit River that when says "Greektown"they're talking the heart of the Motor City.
Our Little Italy is much more well known in Detroit and much large than our “China Town”, which is kind of an unofficial name of the Asian area that is along Wyandotte St. W by the university of Windsor. https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Chinatown,_Windsor

I'm a total doofus, I typed Wheeling (twice even) but I was talking about Weirton.
Somehow, I never caught my own mistake even after your very specific reply.
Man, that's what being dog tired will do to a brain.
My apologies, I had a bout of the dumb for a couple days.
Pittsburgh's Airport is almost in Ohio...it is at least half way between the city and the state line! I remember a 1/2 hr trip into the city on the shuttle.

You mean the northern panhandle of WV. US-30 clips the tippity top of WV before crossing the Ohio River into Ohio.
