What are some metro areas who’s principle city is often outshined by secondary cities within the metro?

Some I can think of:

Paradise, NV
Miami Beach, FL
Bay Lake, FL

Who else?

Does Ft Myers, FL count? I believe that Cape Coral is larger but it seems like I hear about Ft Myers more.

Not really a city, but St. Charles County seems to outshine St. Louis in every way.

Here are a few:

Bellevue > Seattle
St. Petersburg > Tampa
Arlington > DC
Hollywood/Beverly Hills > LA

All are debatable, of course.
