Akron-Canton suburbs for the cheap housing. Less than an hour drive to Cleveland, lakes, and a national park.

The trick is finding the place before it gets discovered & buying housing before it becomes unaffordable. There’s a pretty long list I could make that were bargains in 2012 that aren’t affordable now.

Never responded to this. Yes, if you want to make money or find a decent LCOL place, you have to find the next Boise, not move to Boise. That ship has sailed.

The silly reasons people make for not moving to AZ, especially from North Korea lite (California) are hilarious once you actually check it out. Heat isn't a big deal and the rest is awesome.
