city? hmmmm New England has a lot of amazing private schools but I don't know if I would say Boston itself has the best. For inside city limits probably NY or LA
I'm sure all the lawmakers make sure that their kids have the best education and New York City has a very wealthy population that can invest a ton of money into top notch schools
NYC obviously. Most of the rich people in the area are living in the city, which is very uncommon in America these days. There are suburbs of NYC that are poorer or just as poor as some of NYC's notorious hoods. Spring Valley, Yonkers, Newburgh (known around the area as New Baghdad, and believe me, it looks like a warzone), Mt. Vernon, White Plains, Nyack, Hempstead, Newark, Jersey City, Bayonne, Irvington (disputed as the most dangerous city in America but not listed because it is too small), Paterson, Elizabeth, Bridgeport, etc.
^^^ meaning a lot of rich people live in the city. However, if NYC doesn't get its act together crime rate-wise, we may see a rerun of the 70s version of the city, not next year or anything but gradually.
