The best weather in the US IMO is in El Paso TX & southern NM.

Excellent fall weather, a taste of winter, 300+ days of sunshine, dry, summers in the 90's with a small rainy season.

San Diego is very nice but too perfect. A little variation with no extremes is nicer

If you like true warmth year round, its either Honolulu or South Florida.

San Diego is the perfect warm city ever. Never too hot. Always a constant 'hot enough.' Yall whove been there know what i mean. NO DISPUTE! Probably Honolulu is the only other city that can contend.

Los Angeles and OC probably second. Can get really hot and sunny.
Miami 3rd. Summers are too humid.
