Toronto and Vancouver are both very, very different places. So let's be more specific

I'm not use to the bluntness because I get annoyed quickly and go off. I'd rather deal with someone "fake?" and respectful than sit and hear someone whine and complain all day.
We'll choose to disagree I'm sorry northerners bluntness offends you.

I'm sure as hell not sorry about it. Nor should you be If being "labaled" as ignorant or annoying is the only price I have to pay to tell someone to sod off any day of the week, I'll take it.

I like to think that everyone has their own opinions and while I'm all for defending your towns and such, I ask that we don't get too hateful since we all have our own opinions. For example, I lived in Seattle but thought it was a bit too anti-social, but I know of people who love Seattle and have made a ton of friends.

All of this advice has come in handy so far and I am reseraching these cities. It will be a while before I move, so don't think I will rush into a dangerous economic mess right now. However, I do thank you for your advice and hope to gather more advice as well .
Oh me too! It seems silly to get so heated about something as simple as cities. A lot of people here do!
