I would definitely move anywhere in the US, Canada, or Europe if I could double or triple my income. No place is that bad if you have enough $$$ and anywhere is going to suck if you're broke.
No I'd stay where I am, go back to school so I could get a better position and have more control over my life.
Can't think of a better time to do so than now.
No to the question... Quality of life is WAY more important to me over money.
And ^ that is what I am doing right now, trying to work and taking some additional course work and saving money for a bit of a career change.
I unknowingly quit my last good paying, comfortable job in June to take a 6 month sabbatical around the world (specifically Africa)...didn't think the economy was going to effing collapse in the mean time or would never have done it. I am still 3 months now looking for a job which will definitely pay less than my previous job.

Eh, some places are pretty bad... But I do agree anywhere is going to suck if you are broke... But what if you are wealthy but don't get much vacation and there is absolutely nothing to do? which is the opposite side of the spectrum. At least is the weather is nice in some place that you are broke, you can enjoy the weather.
I would do whatever needed in order to get by. If in this situation i had money to throw around and was doing fine getting by (even if not content), then no i wouldnt
No, mainly because I probably wouldn't have any money to make such a big move! I'd just stay where I am and leave no stone unturned when finding employment. Even if I eventually found a job that didn't pay my desired salary, at least it's better than having NO income at all.
yes i would. let's say i had to move somewhere that was crappy, i would have my cell phone and hopefully tv. i would join a gym and work out like a madwoman...
i truly believe that you can be happy wherever you are. or you can be miserable wherever you are as well, that is all up to you
no, i wouldn't.
i had more money where i lived before, but i hated it there, so it wasn't worth it.
