I actually like Stop & Shop. Seems like I get more for my money there.

Do they sell Rotisserie Chicken at a modest price? do they have free cookies? do they have specials on pork ribs? do they have a bakery? do they sell rosmary olive oil and sourdough bread? do they sell made-to-order sub sandwiches every day? do they have their own brand of milk thats cheaper than hunter farms milk? Is it easy to navigate?

if the answer is no to any of the above, then to me, is it not the best supermarket around.

I would think if it was the best grocery stort in the country, Wegmans would have more store locations than in NY/NJ/PA/VA. How would those of us in the other 46 states even know how good it is?

I like Whole Foods...and Trader Joe's...and FreshMarket...but don't visit them very often. For every day grocery shopping I go to Kroger, BJ's, or Publix.

My favorite in Atlanta...Sevananda Natural Food Co-op. But any of the following are ok.

When I went to school upstate in Cortland, tons of my friends always went to Wegmans, which was about 20 miles away. I never went, wish I could have. They love it, I don't know why though. I know they always used to say their cookies were good
