Using tables from the latest Census stats, we can see which cities are attracting the most people.
There are essentially two components to the growth rate of an area: natural increase (births vs. deaths) and net in-migration (more people moving in than moving out).
Some interesting migration patterns are found.

**There were no metropolitan areas that had a net international out-migration.
It's fascinating how the cities with the biggest domestic out-migration have the biggest international in-migration. I wonder what about these places is attractive to immigrants but unattractive to native Americans, and likewise what is interesting about the in-migration cities to Americans that is not as interesting to immigrants.

I agree. I was pretty surprised to see that. So places like NYC, Miami, LA and Chicago are becoming much more international. While I can see many benefits to that, as an educator I can also understand what a nightmare that creates for public schools who then have to spend a small fortune on interpreters and ESL instructors.
How is it outdated? Not enough faux-hawks for your liking?
Yes, the people here are fake.
Outdated means its 20 years behind most of the US in every category.
