It seems to be spreading here in NYC pretty fast, and in downstate NY too. One catholic school in the city has been shut down because there were a few cases of it.

My coworker's daughter goes to that school. She's hanging at the beach. I proposed closing our office for the day since we're so "closely impacted" but corporate's not going for it.
The closest we have to here is not even confirmed but a 14 year old who returned from Mexico to Sacramento and his school is closed. About 90 miles from here.
Places that have close contact with other people such as New York City, Chicago, L.A. from subways and walking on the streets.
With spring break over and the many that came back from Mexico the week before this hit the U.S. TV airwaves hurts as well. So this could affect other cities that don't have the close contact that I mention above but could be passed along in the crowed school hallways that are pretty much similar on what we see on the streets of Manhattan in the terms of heavily crowed.

I wonder if Mexico was aware of the flu, but nothing was said about it until recently, as they'd have been afraid it would have impacted their spring break business?

Yikes, so there's a slight chance it could be spread to your office.
I'm wondering if the NYC public schools will close down if there happen to be a few cases of it. I doubt it though, lol. It takes a whole lot to close them down.
